We call her RoJo, but her name is Rochelle and her blog is beauticurve.com. She’s a woman who radiates confidence and believes “life is full of fashion adventures.” We couldn’t agree more! So we had her share her weekend plans for the 4th. A couple stars, a couple stripes, and a lot of style.
I’m really excited to be leaving for a little trip to celebrate the Fourth of July and our pregnancy! I’m all about embracing all the benefits that go along with pregnancy, especially the babymoon or babymoon(s) in our case! A babymoon is a vacation that you take before the new bundle of joy arrives. I’ve been doing a lot of travelling lately and we just had a big move as well so we couldn’t go far for this one. We decided to go to Hot Springs, Arkansas for the holiday weekend. If you’re not familiar with Hot Springs, it’s a cute little town about an hour from Little Rock. The city is famous for being an old resort town with naturally thermal waters that are said to have healing powers. While it’s not safe for me to enjoy the hot waters right now, I will be prancing around town in some really cute outfits and I wanted to share.
Since it’s the holiday weekend I wanted to wear a few Americana inspired outfits (from maurices) that would be cute, belly friendly, and keep me nice and cool. For our first day out I plan on wearing these cute little navy linen shorts, paired with a super soft and comfy baseball tee. This look is casual and chic, and gives a nod to the Fourth at the same time.
The second day I’ll wear this summer quintessential, Chambray Shirtdress with an American flag bandana that I picked up at my local craft store. This keeps the look festive without going too over the top! Chambray dresses scream fun & sun. I can’t get enough of this one right now. Babymoon x Fourth of July weekend is the best kind of celebration! Whatever activity you have planned be sure to have fun and look great! Happy Fourth!
